The Pioneer & Los Gatos High School robotics team — The Apes of Wrath — is an extra-cirricular activity that inspires young people's interest in math, science, engineering and technology.

The team was formed as part of FIRST, a multinational nonprofit organization that aspires to make science, math, engineering, and technology as cool for young people as sports are today.

Each year, the students work with engineers to design and build a robot
that they compete with in the FIRST robotics competitions.

In addition, The Apes of Wrath robotics team is committed to developing and supporting new FIRST robotics teams.

One way that Team 668 and FIRST have reached out to new communities this year is by mentoring a team at Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired. (more)

Team 668 also helped organize 50 students, parents, and mentors from FIRST Robotics teams who participated in the Toys for Tots distribution last holiday season. (more)
